The Internet, it turns out, is a great place to play Poker

There is a world wide debate today about the location of poker in the gambling industry. While Poker is a game of luck, where people can gain and lose money while playing it, Poker is also a game of skill. The reason for the debate on online poker raises in the recent US law that limited the industry of the gambling industry. Part of the debate is judicial, and turns around the question, what is the luck part in a poker game, compared to the skill part.

Every year a WSOP (World Series of Poker) contest is held in Las vegas, Nevada. But ever since Internet emerged the contest is not as it was. New Internet poker players attend the contest and Internet geeks have been winning the WSOP contest from time to time. It started a couple of years ago, when an unknown player, an accountant by the name of Chris Monicker, whose entire poker skill was from playing online, had won the WSOP contest.
